Tasmania - an island off Australia's southeastern coast, a little more than an hour's flight from Melbourne - dangles off the edge of the earth. ![]() ![]() ![]() It's a show with ups and downs, some well written episodes that were quite good and entertaining, but also a lot of episodes where my vomit bucket had to stay in reach. The first season starts okay, keeps you interested, followed by a second season that is improving, followed by a third season that in my opinion was the best, to end with a fourth season that is failing completely with a very bad last episode that couldn't end fast enough. I watched all four seasons before rating Wynonna Earp. I am rating "Wynonna Earp" a solid seven out of ten stars. Even if you haven't read the IDW comic series about Wynonna Earp, then you still should treat yourself to this 2016 series, because it is quite entertaining and quite fun to watch. Especially since we were left on quite a cliffhanger at the conclusion of season one. The entire first season just went by in a flash once I started watching it, and I am more than hooked now and awaiting SyFy to launch season two. "Wynonna Earp" has some good acting talents to the cast list, which includes Melanie Scrofano (playing Wynonna Earp), Tim Rozon (playing Doc Holiday), Katherine Barrell (playing Nicole Haught), and Michael Eklund (playing Bobo Del Rey). And having good effects really helped boost the series tremendously. But my lack of expectations was quickly put to shame as the effects turned out to be quite good. As for the special effects, well I had initially not really much of an expectations, since this was a SyFy production. I would say that Doc Holiday was my absolute favorite, and Tim Rozon was so superbly cast for that role. Personally, then I really liked the Wynonna Earp, Doc Holiday and Nicole Haught characters. The characters in the series were colorful and well-fleshed out on the screen, having both interesting background stories and they evolve nicely on the screen as the show progresses. I believe that "Wynonna Earp" is something that you have to watch on your own to fully grasp the complexity of all that is going on. There is actually more to the storyline that just that, but I will not go into further details, as I don't want to give away any spoilers. The story, briefly summarized, is about the descendants of the Wyatt Earp line having to deal with the returned revenants of those their great, great grandfather put to death. And it actually was an entertaining series. The "Wynonna Earp" series turned out to be much, much more interesting that I had been lead on to believe. And I watched all episodes over a course of just three evenings. However, I got the chance to sit down with season 1 and decided to give it a go. And I was actively warned not to watch this show by an acquaintance. I had seen some images of the TV series on SyFy's webpage, but never really gave it much though. I read the comic book back in my younger days, and I do remember it as being fairly entertaining. It eventually runs out of steam but at least, the main characters are able to get some resolutions. It keeps losing characters like the great villain, Bobo Del Rey. The show manages to stay on the air as it struggles to maintain its quality. A pregnant Scrofano does some excellent work. It culminates with a great season-ending climax. ![]() The Scooby gang is more settled and the story gains an urgency. The show takes off during the second season. ![]() The low budget does keep it from taking off but it does gather a fun set of characters. One gets a sense of the sarcasm and irreverence. Bobo Del Rey is a leader of the revenants. yes that Doc Holliday (Tim Rozon), and her younger sister Waverly (Dominique Provost-Chalkley). She is assisted by Deputy Marshal Xavier Dolls (Shamier Anderson) from the Black Badge Divison, Doc Holliday. ![]() ![]() An inverse differential gear power splitter was installed to integrate or distribute the power of an internal combustion engine (ICE), thus achieving single/dual power output. In this study, inverse differential gear and power mode switching control were used to develop a hybrid electric motorcycle (HEM). The HEM acceleration time and top velocity have been improved without affecting too much the original motorcycle weight. All the experimental measurements highlight a significant performance enhancement of the new HEM with respect to the original one. Experimental tests of the HEM prototype on test bench and on a real racetrack are presented. The whole power train has been prototyped. In order to predict EM, power converter, and battery pack performances, efficiency maps have been computed. Moreover, the design choices adopted for the electric drive are reported. A methodology of investigation is proposed in order to recognize all the data necessary to find out the ESS. Different kinds of ESSs are compared to choose the best solution balancing cost, volume, and weight. Low weight and volume are the main requirements for HEMs, and the energy storage system (ESS) is the most critical part. The EM is fed by a standard three-phase inverter connected to a high-voltage battery pack. The HEM power train is composed of an internal combustion engine coupled to a synchronous electric machine (EM). This paper deals with the design of the power train for a hybrid electric motorcycle (HEM). ![]() ![]()
![]() A maximum of four players should stay forward when defending to make sure you’re not outnumbered. Make sure they stay forward when defending so they are able to attack with pace. Keep your attacking players forwardĭon’t allow your strikers and attacking midfielders to work both forwards and backwards, they’ll be exhausted before half time. Gareth Bale on the right wing is better served cutting inside and looking to shoot or making a through ball, while on the left he’s better attacking the wing and trying to cross. Wingersĭepending on if the winger is playing on the same side as their strong foot (left winger on left, for example), you’ll have to adjust your instructions of whether to cut inside or stay wide. ![]() This will drag defenders out of position, leaving space for wide men who, if instructed to cut inside, will exploit. For instance, Falcao will stay central for Man United while Rooney drifts wide. Make sure it’s the smaller, weaker (aka faster) of the two strikers that’s moving wide while the big man stays central. If you’re playing with two strikers, have one of them drift wide, and the other “get in behind”, that way they won’t keep making the same runs on attack. That means that if you substitute a defensive-minded midfielder for an attacking one, he will still be under instruction to stay back when you’re attacking, and you’ll need to change this. Keep in mind that these instructions apply to the position, not the individual player. If both stay back, then you won’t have enough men forward to break down the defence, especially if they ‘park the bus’, and if both go forward, you’ll be exposed on the counter attack. If you have two centre midfielders (not central attacking, but centre or central defensive), it’s important to instruct only one of them to attack when you have possession and the other to stay back. Most teams attack with at least six players, but depending on the speed of your break, you can press with as many as seven or eight, so don’t worry if both full backs are pushing up the pitch, as you should still have your two centre halves and at least one midfielder back. Wing backs will often press forward without any defender marking them, so the opportunity to get the ball high up the pitch and get an early cross or attack inside is ideal, especially if you have a striker who’s strong in the air. This is great for opening up play and taking advantage of space left by defenders dragged inside by the midfield and forwards. If you’re playing a midfield diamond or three which lacks width, then it’s vital to have your full backs overlap. Narrow midfield equals overlapping full backs Also vary up the formation so you’re able to exploit opponent weaknesses. Just about every incoming head writer says they’re going to lighten up on the mob activity-and the network has consistently claimed this, too-but the mob drama has actually escalated, so much so that the heavily criticized Bob Guza era now looks fairly benign. It was then I realized that I would have to start playing up his personal pain if I wanted to have a long run. You know, back when I started on GH and Sonny was running a club with underage strippers and supplying drugs, the role was only supposed to last six months.
